Jane Aprile-Smith
Last year was an eventful year, with the beginning of the year focusing on ground work, we had over 30 tonnes of bark and shingle that we put around the trail, we re-seeded lawns, planted wild flowers and many ferns, all to create the most magical experience for our guests. We also invested in gridding for our car park, as we are on green-belt, we cannot lay concrete. We also built a whole new village in the woodland area, as well as new cabins for some of the Christmas themes. We ran two successful fairy events, where we introduced a new romance scene and the return of An Elf's Wish. Despite some challenging adverse weather conditions, the feedback has been positive and we look forward to the return of An Elf's Wish 2019 - Tickets go on sale July 31st at 10am.
We would like to thank everyone who visited us or were involved in our truly magical events last year.
Many of you will be wondering what we have in store for this year... Unfortunately, even after having gridding put down, the car park became exceptionally muddy due to the adverse weather conditions over the Christmas period. The car park company are returning to stabilise the car park and put in a new drainage system. Unfortunately this work cannot start until the end of May which means putting the Fairy event sequel on hold until the work has been completed. Sign up to our newsletter to be updated on upcoming events. Whilst Fairies is on hold we are working hard to create an even more magical Christmas.
Just a reminder, although we produce highly popular public events, we also offer other services including private themed children's parties, pre-prom packages, photography location, film/TV shoots & prop/costume hire. We are also open to enquiries regarding bespoke packages so please do get in touch.
Here's to a brand new year, we do hope to see you very soon.
